Hawaii

Ben and I went to Maui on a company work trip, and it was FABULOUS.
I had never been to Maui before, and I LOVED it. We had a great time. It is hard to come back to so much cold after so much SUN.

Thank you to all who watched our three little ones so we could go.
It was a much needed vacation.

Now all I can think about is how to get back to Maui.

(Sorry. Some of these pictures aren't the greatest, but you know Ben. His limit is about three, so he was being generous. :) We were also having too much fun to take more pictures.)

January Birthday Parties

At the beginning of January, we celebrated my Dad's birthday and my sister Mckell's birthday. It was a wild-hair/wig party, and it was pretty hilarious, except for Ben's wig which was a tad too real looking..... beware!

It was also Brooklyn and Ben's sister Danielle's birthday party on January 30th. This is a really popular birthday date because Ben's youngest sister Lauren also had her birthday on January 30th. We missed seeing her, and hope she is feeling better! She was sick her whole birthday!

On a sidenote, I am a little worried about how fast the last 12 months have gone. Why is Brooklyn already one? I am pretty positive I just gave birth.... The other morning at breakfast Boston said to me, "Mom? Next time you go to the hospital, could you pop a boy baby out?" She makes it sound so matter-of-fact. I am not exactly taking orders or anything for sibling preferences, and I wish that they only popped right out.

Happy Birthday to all the January birthdays....Especially my little Brooklyn. I love you more than you will ever know- Even if your teeth are appearing in a hillbilly fashion. For the record, you first got one bottom tooth, but not the other one. Then you got one top side tooth, then the other bottom tooth, then the other top side tooth, and I am pretty sure we will see your two front teeth any day now. For your first birthday you had a first-grader smile.

I love Him

Last month Ben and I celebrated our sixth anniversary.

There are a lot of things that I could say, but I will leave it to Anne Bradstreet.

Because this is how I feel:

IF ever two were one, then surely we.
If ever man were lov'd by wife, then thee.

If ever wife was happy in a man,
Compare with me, ye women, if you can.

I prize thy love more than whole Mines of gold
Or all the riches that the East doth hold.

My love is such that Rivers cannot quench,
Nor ought but love from thee give recompetence.

Thy love is such I can no way repay.
The heavens reward thee manifold, I pray.

Then while we live, in love let's so persever
That when we live no more, we may live ever.

-Anne Bradstreet

Happy Anniversary Benjamin Keahi. I love you.

Temple Square

Every year the girls like to go to Temple Square and see the lights.
It was nice to have Brooklyn out of my belly this year. She spent the whole evening saying, "Wow! Wow! Wow!"

It is I, the "Buff of the House" as my sweeties call me, making this awesome post with even more awesome pictures of an awesome pumpkin or two made while Mom was at Stake RS Night honing in on her food storage techniques.

I present the Jokester and Sir Optimus Prime!
