Prayers

Boston: "Please bless us to eat a fench fry and not a booger."

(Given the two choices, I would also choose the french fry.)

Scout: "Please bless all the people we don't know who live with the people we do know."

(If you have relatives or friends living with you that we may not know, consider them blessed.)

And of course we have Boston's standard prayer, that led to our most recent FHE lesson on a respectful and proper prayer....

Boston:"Dear Heavenly Father, please bless us to have a good time. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen." (She says the last part with an excited tone to her voice and most of the time after she says "amen" she claps her hands.)

We have tried to tell her why this doesn't pass as a reverent or respectful prayer, and Ben even tried to help her while she was praying, and she said, "Dad! I don't need help." Ben let her proceed, and she still recited the previously mentioned prayer.

I told Ben that if ever there was a family "having a good time," it is us. If you think about it, everything that we might pray for and thank Heavenly Father for falls under the category of "having a good time."

And we are definitely having a good time.

I am glad you record those things. You guys really do have a good time. And, given the choice, I would pray that I would always be presented with a french fry rather than a booger! Boston is a smartie.

My friend Molly said she ran into you a while ago and that Boston reminded her of Calvin. I thought that was interesting and just wanted to share.

Love you guys! (and thanks for the mother's day package. I am sorry I forgot to say something. I loved it and it was very sweet.)
