I love Him

Last month Ben and I celebrated our sixth anniversary.

There are a lot of things that I could say, but I will leave it to Anne Bradstreet.

Because this is how I feel:

IF ever two were one, then surely we.
If ever man were lov'd by wife, then thee.

If ever wife was happy in a man,
Compare with me, ye women, if you can.

I prize thy love more than whole Mines of gold
Or all the riches that the East doth hold.

My love is such that Rivers cannot quench,
Nor ought but love from thee give recompetence.

Thy love is such I can no way repay.
The heavens reward thee manifold, I pray.

Then while we live, in love let's so persever
That when we live no more, we may live ever.

-Anne Bradstreet

Happy Anniversary Benjamin Keahi. I love you.

Temple Square

Every year the girls like to go to Temple Square and see the lights.
It was nice to have Brooklyn out of my belly this year. She spent the whole evening saying, "Wow! Wow! Wow!"

Carving Pumpkins the Manly Way

It is I, the "Buff of the House" as my sweeties call me, making this awesome post with even more awesome pictures of an awesome pumpkin or two made while Mom was at Stake RS Night honing in on her food storage techniques.

I present the Jokester and Sir Optimus Prime!

Reeves Family Pics

Once upon a time we had our family pictures taken.
Boston peed her pants and Ben's leg was the recipient.
We bribed profusely....if they would just smile.
And now we know why we only attempt this once a year or less.
The End.

P.S.
Can you guess what your Christmas card might look like?
P.S.S. I am trying to get caught up...but in a backwards kind of fashion...
I still have Kamalu Family pictures to post from March. Wish me luck.

Absent

Yes. We are still here. Oh how much I have to document. I probably won't get caught up, but here's to trying.

In the meantime, I hope this picture makes you laugh, or at least smile.

This pretty much sums up our crazy summer. I won't even have to try to do her hair for halloween.

Proof

Let it be known that my husband doesn't like to have his picture taken. I have proof.
I think this may be related to the fact that he is "one of those" who will not read an entire e-mail if it requires him to scroll down. He just doesn't see the point of either of the two. . . well in most cases at least. :) Instead of that dashing smile of his, half the time I get pictures like these:

Yes, I asked him to look at me.

Covering the eyes

The smart alec smirk (This was at one of his luau shows.)

The complaining begins...

That turns into whining. . .

And that turns into flat-out ignoring . . .

The head duck

tight-lipped. . .

But I must admit that every once-in-a-while he obliges me and gives me one of these beauties. . .

I'll take whatever I can get. Oh how I love my Ben.
