The Thing About Boys.....

I just happened to hear this little bit of knowledge Scout shared with Boston the other day:

Scout: Boys are funny Bos. They don't know anything.

I have had a good laugh over it. I can't say that I blame her for her point of view. She is only around boys who are eight and younger, which I believe prompted this statement the other day:

Scout: Mom, I wouldn't tell anyone this right now, but I don't like boys that much. I would like to have a baby brother, but that is all. Boys just tease and bully and I'm not sure they are my friends.


I can't wait to hear the comments out of her when she gets to junior high.

Holidays

Once again I find myself far behind on my blog, but here are just a few pictures from Christmas, Halloween, and Fall. These really don't do it justice. I should have taken far more pictures, but these will have to do.
We had The Kamalu family here for Ethan's blessing and for the week of Christmas. It was a great time.
The girls had fun playing with Evie and holding their newest cousin Ethan. We also had fun putting Ethan in a Stocking, but I don't know that he thought it was as wonderful as we did.
So, here is to a new year, and with luck, I will start posting all the pictures I have taken.....on time that is.

Once Upon a Kamalu Summer

So, we really were alive and well this summer although it wasn't known to the blog world. Here is a picture overload of some of the things we did this summer.

We had family pool parties, weddings, fourth of July celebrations, hula recitals, farewells, campfires, and the Utah Valley half Marathon. Scout also started school!

But the one thing that took the cake this summer, and all our time too, was moving. We love our new house, and we owe a lot of you for helping us move! So, now that it is October.....I will post about Summer.

We also went to San Diego in June, but I will post that on a seperate post since there are so many pictures from it.
